²⁷ with the pure You show Yourself pure;
    but with the perverse You show Yourself shrewd.
²⁸ You deliver a humble people;
    but Your eyes are upon the exalted to bring them down.
²⁹ For You are my lamp, O Lord;
    the Lord illuminates my darkness.
